Lot 62: J.A. Kuchenreuter Percussion Cap Pistol
19th century percussion cap pistol. Watered steel, rifled, octagonal barrel with bearing the name "J. Adam Kuchenreuter in Regensburc" inlaid with brass. Serpent head hammer is engraved is with intricate scroll work as are the lockplate, side plate, trigger guard and butt. Walnut stock with channels and carved scrolls. Barrel length 9 inches. Bore .45 in.
