19th C. Ottoman Yatagan Sword. Hand forged, watered steel, forward curved blade with brass inlaid cartouche and flame decoration at hilt. Bifurcated bone handle grip plaques connected through the tang covered with engraved bands. Leather bound wood scabbard with pierce engraved metal locket and chape. Overall length 29 inches. Blade length 23 inches.
