Lot 135: 19th C. Indo-Persian Dhal Shield.
19th C. Indo-Persian Dhal Shield. Circular convex steel shield with bronze rim, four raised bosses and heavily engraved personages and fauna. Interior has four eyelet strap mounts. Diameter 16.25 inches. Height 2.25 inches.
Condition: Fracture near one boss with detached piece and small loss. Previous repair.
