18th C. British East India Co. Jezail Flintlock Musket. Watered steel, tapered octagonal barrel. Approx. 45.75 inches long, 0.45 inch caliber. Traditional form hardwood stock with brass banding. The lockplate is marked with the gunsmith name "Memory" below the pan. Lockplate also marked with E.I.C. trademark and dated 1791.
