19th C. Ottoman Yatagan Sword. Hand forged, forward curved blade with gilt inlaid Islamic script. Bifurcated bone handle grip plaques connected through the tang covered with engraved bands. Leather bound wood scabbard with embossed metal locket and chape. Overall length 32.75 inches. Blade length 26.5 inches.
