Lot 10: Civil War Era Sword and Scabbard
Civil War Era Non-Regulation Union officer's sword and scabbard. Pierced brass guard with Eagle and "U.S." Slightly curved blade with wide fuller. Obverse etched "U.S." with foliage and scrolls. Opposite side etched with Eagle and "E. Pluribus, Unum." Sword: blade 32.25 in. overall 37.5 in. Scabbard 33 in. long.
